SALFO in a Joint Venture with Setec TPI S.A has signed on March 2022, the Contract of the Independent Engineer for the Concession project “Design – Construction – Financing – Operation – Maintenance and Exploitation of the Elefsina-Korinthos-Patra-Pyrgos-Tsakona (North-West Peloponnese Axis) Motorway, and more specifically the completion of the construction of Patra – Pyrgos section. The Concession Agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation and the Concessionaire “Olympia Odos S.A.”
The project consists of new road sections of an approximate length of 75 Km of approx. 21m width with 2 lanes plus emergency lane per direction. The new alignment lies mainly in a green field section while a small sub-section is developed as an upgrade and widening of the existing Patra – Pyrgos National Road.
The overall cost for the completion of the construction of Patra – Pyrgos Motorway is estimated to reach approximately 300 million Euros.
