SALFO & Associates has signed two strategic contracts for the provision of technical advisor services. The first one with Saudi Railway Company (SAR) in KSA and the second with Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) in Qatar, highlighting the success of the collective efforts for the dynamic expansion of the Greek company in the region.
The first contract concerns the provision of design support services to SAR for the new railway network of Saudi Arabia, which will have an operating speed of 200km per hour, a length of 2,750 km and a budget of over €30 billion. It is currently the largest railway project under construction worldwide. The second contract concerns the provision of construction management services to the Ministry of Public Works of Qatar, in association with the American Consulting Firm KBR for the upgrading programme of 30 highways, with a total length of 550 km and a budget of over €15 billion.
