Transaction Advisor (Technical) for the “Thessaloniki Ring Road of - Flyover PPP
SALFO provided Technical Advisory Services for the Transaction of upgrading Thessaloniki Ring Road as a Public-Private Partnership project for and on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of Greece.
The Ring Road has a total length of 22km, introducing a 9km elevated highway (the “flyover”) above the existing road, which features a 4km long viaduct bridge.
The main objective of the assignment was to develop the tender documents (including the contract, the specifications and payment mechanism) for the project, which is the first ever PPP in the Road Sector in the country based on Availability Payments by the State.
