Ioannis Foteinos is the Co Founder and CEO of SALFO since 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Athens University of Economics & Business and a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics from University of Bristol, UK.

Mr.Foteinos started his professional career as an Advisor to private investors and public bodies, mainly for the development and evaluation of business and strategic plans and major national programmes in Greece. Prior to establishing SALFO and Associates, Mr. Foteinos was the Founder and Managing Director of ICON S.A. and Global View S.A, which is/are today the management consultancy arm of SALFO Group of Companies.

Since the first steps of SALFO as a business entity, Mr. Foteinos has adopted a business model based on extroversion and human centric approach gaining the trust and loyalty of high profile clients, both within and outside Greek borders. He has established a reputable multinational group with a strong presence mainly in South Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Under Mr. Foteinos’ leadership, the company has delivered some of the most complex and significant projects in Southeastern Europe and the Gulf area during the last two decades.

Panagiotis is the COO of SALFO since 2018, Business Development Director since 1994 and a Chartered Engineer with over 28 years of experience in management of major infrastructure projects. Reporting directly to the CEO, he establishes policies that promote the company’s culture and vision through its operations. He is responsible for the efficiency of the business, which includes maintaining control of diverse strategic operations and establishing a set of policies and processes.

Kostas is a chartered Civil Engineer with specialisation in Project Management and a MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He has over 20 years of experience in hydraulic designs, as well as in managing and coordinating design teams of various disciplines. Kostas joined SALFO in 2015 as Project Director and was appointed as Country Director of the KSA office from 2018 to 2022.  Under his current position as Middle East Representative, he develops and implements strategies with focus on the Middle East, identifies prospective customers and has generated new business opportunities for the company.

As CFO of SALFO, Kornilia oversees the financial management, business strategy, funding and investments of the domestic and international operations of the Group. She is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, corporate finance and investor relations. Member of SALFO team since 1994, her career spans 30 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy.

Κostis joined SALFO in July 2001. He has worked as Project Manager for more than 15 years and has a broad experience in the construction of infrastructure projects, as well as, in the fields of Project Management, Cost Control, Project Planning of Highways, Railways, Airports and Concession projects. Highly experienced in project staffing and recruiting, selection and evaluation of the personnel, Kostis has been the Group HR Director since June 2010.

With over 20 years of experience across the fields of urban infrastructure, civil engineering and transportation for public and private sector clients, Nikos has been involved in projects ranging from transport impact assessments to major engineering  infrastructure framework programs.  Nikos  joined SALFO in 2015 as Project Director and was appointed as Technical Director of the Riyadh office from 2020 to 2022. Under his current role as Country Director, he has enhanced the team’s capabilities in responding to complex urban and civil engineering challenges. Nikos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Structural Design from London Southbank University and he is a member of CIOB.

Alexia is an architect with postgraduate studies in architectural theory and spatial design.  She has over 12 years of experience in a variety of architectural projects including residential, cultural buildings, healthcare and welfare facilities, shopping centers, landscape design, urban design and interior design. She has excellent technical qualifications which complement an innate sense of creativity and the ability to deliver quality results within strict time deadlines.

Civil Engineer with specialisation in Hydraulic Engineering and Master studies in Environmental Engineering. He has over 15 years of experience in hydraulic designs, as well as in managing design teams of various disciplines. As Technical Director of SALFO Greece , Antonis is responsible for the technical support to projects, coordinating design activities, staffing,cost and programme control, strategically preparing  tender bids and executing quality audits of the provided services.

Project Manager with specialisation in Construction Management, an MBA in Engineering – Economic Systems and Master studies in International Negotiations and Philosophy and Management. An accomplished Construction Project Manager with a 20 year international career in managing and delivering large scale industrial construction projects. As our Technical Director in KSA, Petros oversees all technical activities, ensures delivery of projects in alignment with client specifications, coordinates and provides guidance to our teams, drives high team performance through motivating and mentoring our staff.

Alok is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in Project Management, Design Management and Engineering in the Construction of Roads and Infrastructure projects. His areas of expertise include managing various critical and challenging projects from design to implementation stage. He is highly experienced in planning and project execution, contracts’ review, coordination with internal departments, and development of procedures. Alok joined SALFO in 2018 and is currently the Technical Director in the UAE offices.

Olga is specialised in project finance infrastructure development and structuring of PPP projects.  She has provided technical and commercial advisory services to Lenders and Public Authorities for more than 25 major PPP schemes in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Before joining SALFO, Olga worked as Senior Consultant at the Infrastructure Finance Division of Mott MacDonald in London. Olga holds a degree in Civil Engineering from NTUA and an MSc in Engineering Project Management from UMIST.

Nikos joined SALFO in 1999 and has more than 37 years of experience in Design and in Construction Supervision of major transportation Projects. He has undertaken several managerial positions in major infrastructure projects (Highways, Railways, Metro, etc) in Greece and abroad, and is largely experienced in Project Management, Contract Management, Risk Management, Design Management and in Design-Construction Coordination.

Panos is a Civil Engineer with expertise in the design, planning and management of all modes of transportation. He has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the design and project management of major multi-disciplinary transportation infrastructure projects, in transport planning and traffic impact studies, as well as in road safety studies in Europe and the Middle East.

Nicolas is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in civil engineering and geological engineering . As a Department Director, he coordinates and administers high budget construction projects with the support of a very efficient and skilled team of engineers. During his career he has also been involved with planning, scheduling, cost control and quantity surveying, contract, and personnel management.

Sofia Foteinou oversees all operations including  Finance, Administration, HR, Legal, Operations and Compliance functions to meet objectives. She participates in operations planning and scheduling processes to achieve SALFO’s targets and in shaping business growth strategies. She holds a degree in Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki , an LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London and an MSc in Management from Bayes Business School-City, University of London.

Dimitra is a Civil Engineer with over 12 years of general professional experience and expertise in the design of marine and transportation infrastructure based on safety, techno – economic and environmental criteria. Tender Manager of the Business Development Department, Dimitra is responsible for South East Europe and Qatar offices proposals and offers.

As Senior Accountant, Maria supervises and approves the daily transactions of SALFO and is responsible for the timely submission of tax statements and tax compliance of the Group.She participates in the preparation of the budget and in the annual audits of the Financial Statements and of the Tax Certificate. Member of Salfo team since 2002, Maria has vast experience in financial management and accounting.

Dimitris is a Civil Engineer with a Master in Transport and more than 25 years of working experience in Transportation Design and Construction Engineering. He specialises in Road, Highway and Airport Design, Road Design Software and Transportation Models. Dimitris is an expert in infrastructure geometric design (motorway, highway and railway), traffic modeling and management, and public transport. He has significant construction experience in Railways projects. His international experience in major Infrastructure projects ensures successful delivery of them according to client’s specifications.

Pely is a Civil Engineer with almost 30 years of professional experience in the areas of Structural and Geotechnical Design. She is highly experienced in underground works’ design, Tunnelling for Highway and Railway Lines, Infrastructure projects and Oil and Gas projects in Greece and United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman. Member of SALFO team since 2008, as Project and Design Manager, Pely coordinates the Clients and all the involved parties of a project.

Sofia is a Senior Land Surveyor and a cultural heritage expert with a MSc in Protection of Monuments, an ICOMOS member and Associated member of DIAZOMA organization for the preservation of the ancient theaters. With more than 20 years in design and project management of large-scale development, infrastructure and building projects, familiar with heritage preservation and cultural policies, she is now involved in all restoration and heritage consultancy projects of SALFO.

Maro is an Architect with over 20 years of professional experience and an expertise in Residential, Retail, Offices, Culture, Sport, Mixed Use buildings in multiple scales. She is highly experienced in project coordination and project leading, holding strong conceptual and design skills. Member of SALFO team since 2016, Maro provides design and project management services.

Tania is QA/QC Manager with a wide range of skills and experience gained through 20 years of involvement in Construction, Supervision & Management of Civil, Highway, Railway, Tunnel, Infrastructure & Utilities Projects in Greece and the Gulf Region. She is highly experienced in setting up, monitoring and maintaining Integrated QHSE Management Systems as per ISO 9001: 2008, ISO 14001-2004 and OHSAS 18001-2007 principles

With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Business Psychology, Ioanna has recently joined our SALFO Middle East team as HR Manager. Her expertise lies in recruitment and selection, HR Administration, Procedures & Policies, Employee Relations, Team Management and Public Relations. She is passionate about human development and focuses on bridging the communication gaps between top management and employees.

Vasilis is a Civil Engineer with postgraduate studies in structural engineering and engineering project management. He specializes in the design and the analysis of concrete, steel and composite structures and is competent with structural analysis software. He is highly experienced in project management and project coordination for projects in Greece and in the Middle East. Member of SALFO team since 2013, Vasilis provides design and project control services.
